The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities in Turin, located in the 17th-century building of the Academy of Sciences Palace, is the most important Egyptian museum in the world after the one in Cairo. On display are some 6,500 artifacts including statues, sarcophagi and funerary objects, mummies, papyri, amulets, and jewellery. An immense treasure trove all to be seen to discover the history and mysteries of this ancient civilization.
